You can either become a Fair Dog Mother/Father to one of our long term foster dogs (as we don’t believe in having a dog put down because it is in its older years so the Trust will have it long term fostered until nature makes that decision) or donate to the GSD Rescue Trust in general to help with their everyday expenses. Please state whether your donation is for GSD Rescue or give the name of the dog you are donating for. All donations over $5.00 are tax deductible so please include a postal address for a receipt.
Many people prefer to donate products or their time.
Any of the below items are on our Wish List and always welcome by The German Shepherd Rescue Trust. If you have any to spare and can donate towards the needs of some of these rescue dogs we would love to hear from you.
Our Wish List:
Dog bedding, food, collars, flea treatment, worm treatment, dog shampoo, leads, food and water bowls. We also have a shortage of puppy travel crates and collapsible animal crates.
Interesed in becoming a foster parent? We require foster homes for many different situations, including urgent/short notice foster care, overnight stays and medium to long term foster care. All costs of fostercare are covered by the Trust.
Our rescue dogs come from near and far while many are lucky to find new, loving homes all around New Zealand. Therefore we often require assistance for transporting this precious cargo throughout the country. We greatly appreciate any offers of transportation around New Zealand.
